Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of XEROVPN's websites, applications, subscriptions, and VPN service.
Effective August 2, 2026 · Last updated August 23, 2026XEROVPN is a service operated and published by Metafour LLC ("Metafour," "we," "us," or "our"). References to XEROVPN in these Terms mean the XEROVPN service operated by Metafour.
1. The service
XEROVPN routes device or browser traffic through an encrypted connection to a selected VPN or proxy node. Available plans may include a limited free tier, a time-limited pass, and paid subscriptions. Current features, prices, limits, supported platforms, and regions appear in the app or purchase screen before you confirm a purchase.
VPN availability, performance, and compatibility vary with your device, network, destination, and selected node. Some networks and online services block or limit VPN connections. We may change or discontinue nodes or features to maintain security, comply with law, or operate the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and at least the minimum digital-consent age where you live. If you are not legally able to enter a contract, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms for you. You may not use XEROVPN where use of a VPN or the service is prohibited by applicable law, sanctions, or an enforceable legal restriction.
3. Accounts and devices
- You may use an eligible free guest mode without an email or link an account using an available sign-in method.
- You are responsible for controlling access to your email, signed-in devices, and any credentials or manually downloaded configuration.
- You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us at support@xerovpn.com if you suspect unauthorized account use.
- You may not sell, rent, transfer, or commercially share your account. Plan-specific device and concurrent-connection limits apply.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from XEROVPN's failure to use reasonable security safeguards.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use XEROVPN to engage in, enable, or conceal:
- Illegal activity or a violation of another person's legal rights.
- Distribution of malware, phishing, credential theft, fraud, or command-and-control activity.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, or evasion of anti-abuse controls.
- Denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized vulnerability scanning, access attempts, or network intrusion.
- Copyright or intellectual-property infringement.
- Exploitation or abuse of children or any distribution of unlawful sexual content.
- Automated scraping, mining, relaying, hosting, resale, or other sustained use that materially degrades service for others, unless XEROVPN has agreed in writing.
- Evasion or manipulation of plan, device, bandwidth, referral, payment, or fraud-prevention limits.
- Reverse engineering beyond what applicable law expressly permits, or attempts to obtain service secrets, private keys, or administrative credentials.
We may investigate apparent misuse and limit or suspend an account or device when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the network. Send security, abuse, or intellectual-property reports to support@xerovpn.com.
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Subscriptions: recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown before purchase until canceled.
- Time-limited passes: a one-time pass provides access for the duration shown at purchase and does not automatically renew unless the purchase screen says otherwise.
- Payment provider: Google Play, Apple, Stripe, or another identified provider processes payment. Its payment, cancellation, and mandatory refund terms also apply.
- Cancellation: cancel through the store or payment provider that manages the subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds: request a store-managed refund from the applicable store. For a direct XEROVPN purchase, contact support. Nothing here limits a refund or withdrawal right that applicable consumer law requires.
- Taxes and prices: displayed prices may include or exclude taxes as disclosed by the payment provider. We may change future prices after any notice required by law or the payment provider.
Deleting a XEROVPN account does not necessarily cancel a recurring subscription maintained by a payment provider. Cancel the subscription separately before deleting the account.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information XEROVPN collects, which traffic categories it does not log, how information is used and retained, and how to exercise your choices. It is incorporated into these Terms.
7. Software and intellectual property
Subject to these Terms, XEROVPN grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the applications on devices you control. XEROVPN and its licensors retain their rights in the applications, service, design, documentation, trademarks, and infrastructure. Open-source components remain governed by their own licenses.
You retain your rights in content you transmit. These Terms do not give XEROVPN ownership of your traffic.
8. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time and may delete an account in the app or through the instructions at xerovpn.com/delete-account. Subscription cancellation is separate, as described in Section 5.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, fraudulent payment, abuse that threatens the service or others, legal compulsion, or an urgent security risk. When reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, XEROVPN is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular speed, availability of a particular region or destination, or that the service will satisfy every privacy, security, legal, or regulatory requirement you may have.
A VPN is not a substitute for device security, backups, safe browsing practices, or end-to-end encryption. You remain responsible for how you use the internet and for complying with laws that apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent applicable law permits, XEROVPN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the service. XEROVPN's aggregate liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid XEROVPN for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100.
These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot legally be limited, and do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.
11. Responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse XEROVPN for reasonable losses and costs arising from your intentional unlawful use of the service or material violation of Section 4. This obligation does not apply to losses caused by XEROVPN or to the extent local consumer law prohibits it.
12. Applicable law and disputes
Applicable law—including mandatory consumer-protection and choice-of-law rules—governs these Terms. Before filing a claim, you and XEROVPN agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve it by contacting support@xerovpn.com and allowing 30 days for a response. This informal process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a small-claims, regulatory, or consumer-protection process available by law.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced through the app, website, or account email at least 30 days before they take effect when practical, except where an earlier change is required for security, provider, or legal reasons. The updated effective date will appear above. If you do not accept an update, stop using the service and cancel any subscription before the new terms take effect.
14. General
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be adjusted only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; Metafour may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the service with appropriate notice. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and Metafour about XEROVPN, except for additional terms shown for a specific purchase or feature.
